About Michael

I work with the students to put the material into a frame of reference that is easy for the student to understand. My goal is to make sure that my students understand the material and are comfortable with it.

I Enjoy getting to those aha moments. Where everything just clocks for students. I work hard and tirelessly until this is achieved.

I started teaching while in graduate school in 2011 and have been teaching since then. I really enjoy tutoring as I feel I can help students in 1 on 1 situations very quickly and in a profound manor.

I have a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology and have 5 plus years experience teaching psychology and statistics from the undergraduate level to the advanced graduate level courses.

About the lesson

Typically I try to find out what areas they are having issues with. Then when tutoring I try to break the material into small and understandable pieces that will help them learn the material easier. In addition, any examples that I give are related to something that they enjoy in order to make the material more relatable.

I have worked with the whole gamut of students from a freshman in college to students writing their doctoral dissertation. The capabilities have been from students who had a very hard time understanding the basics concepts to those who needed a refresher.

I was able to go to game 7 of the world series with my dad, best friend, and brother. We drove all the way and back to Cleveland in one night. It was a pretty crazy experience.
