About Esther
I am a licensed special education teacher. I received my Bachelors degree in Special Education from Boston University, and I continued on to pursue my Masters of Special Education there as well and received an Autism Endorsment from the state. I have experience working with students with a range of all types of disabilities and ages. I have worked with students ranging from ages 3-22 years old. I specialize in working with autistic students, but I have experience working with students with a range of disabilities such as learning disabilities, Down syndrome, ADHD, etc. I love working with and helping students to succeed and achieve their goals. I like to make learning fun and use multi sensory learning opportunities for my students to comprehend and retain the information they are learning and apply what they learn to real life scenarios. I will also adhere to my students preferences of what they like to do outside of learning as a hobby and incorporate that into my lessons. With each student I make sure to understand their specific learning needs and accommodate or modify their work and lessons to support their needs.
