About Sean
We are grateful for the ability to have a career doing what we love and are eger to help students make their passion a reality. The Record Shop's training progams exist to give students the opportunity to learn their craft in a commercial recording studio, from experienced instructors that are active in the music industry. Our audio students learn hands on in real recording sessions. Our music students learn from full time session players and songwriters. Our training programs are customized to the goals of each indivdual in order to provide a focused apporach that will help each student reach their individual goals.
We love helping to develop the next generation of music indutry leaders. With decades of success following our own passion, it is incredibly rewarding to help others find their own path to creative fulfillment.
Our instructors hold degreess in Audio Engineering and Production. We have over a decade of experience working in the mainstream music industry as producers, engineers, musicians, songwriters, and performers. The Record Shop owner and instructor has led workshops for The Recording Academy, SAE, Belmont University, MTSU, The NAMM show, and countless industry organizations.

We take a customized approach to each students individual needs. Before the first lesson, we have a detailed conversation about the students experience, specific interests, and career goals. We then formulate a customized plan that evolves as the student progresses with their craft.
We enjoy working with a wide variety of students. Our students have ranged ages from 10 to 60, and begineers just getting started to experienced professionals looking to expand their abilities.
