About the lesson

The first session in meeting the athlete begins with an assessment, I am evaluating the players technical and tactical abilities in which we can sharpen. After the first assessment we can then move forward in creating sessions specific to each player. There are various 1 on 1 drills and techniques that we will progress with in each session. The format of my sessions is promptly introduced with a dynamic warm up, high intensity session, then followed by a cool down. The sessions are curated to develop different areas of their game gradually but won't be anything they can’t handle. Since every kid develops differently, the goal is to make compounding improvements at each training session. Some of the focuses that may appear in my sessions are the following:

- possession, passing, shooting, defending, and dribbling skills

- learn and improve basic and specific motor patterns and coordinative skills

- adapt to react and perform in reduced spaces

As a soccer enthusiast, player, and coach I have seen what it takes to perform at the highest level. The mental and physical fortitude it takes to reach the next level requires determination and hard work. Kids have their entire careers to get stronger and faster, and these traits come with physical maturation. I have personally trained children with little to no ability as well as elite athletes. I have been fortunate enough to build and train with a personal list of players as well as assisting as a coach for a travel club. My target range of players I have the most experience with is from the ages 10 -19yrs old. However, I enjoy working with any player of any age who is simply looking to improve their game.
