About Dustin

My soccer coaching journey began in 2008 as an Assistant at a High School. This quickly led to an Assistant role at a College in 2009 and an Associate Head Coaching Position back at the High School level in 2010.

Then, getting bit by a desire to travel and try some new things I joined the United States Air Force and was fortunate enough to be stationed in Germany from fall 2011-summer 2014. That's right, I was living in Germany when they beat the USA in the World Cup then went on to win the whole thing...the scenes were electric.

While stationed in Germany I played semi-professionally for a local German team and also coached my squadron's team in the base league. When my time in Germany ended, I relocated just north of Sacramento, California.

While in California (fall 2014-spring 2017) I volunteered as an assistant coach for a small junior college soccer team. This helped me realize I wanted to be a Collegiate Head Coach when I left the military.

My time in the military ended in 2017 and I moved back to the East Coast. Looking for a college coaching job, I found I needed a Bachelor's Degree in order to be a Head Coach. So, I enrolled online to Southern New Hampshire University and instead of taking a college coaching job, I took a head coaching job at a small private school that had never had a winning record.

I was with the school for one season (2018), we finished 3rd in our league and qualified for the state tournament, both firsts. We finished the entire campaign 9-9 overall. This was when I also began my person training company that has now become TEQNIQ Academy.

Following the season I took an internship with the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL. I was with them until they folded.

Right before graduating from SNHU in 2019, I officially became a collegiate Head Coach at Central Penn College. I was there for the 2019 and 2020 seasons though 2020 unfortunately did not happen due to the pandemic.

In 2021, I started the Allegany College of Maryland, a junior college, program from scratch. In 2022 we were the most improved team in the country across all college demographics when you look at goal differential from year to year statistics.

This led to me being offered the position I now serve in as the Head Coach at Frederick Community College in Frederick, MD. In my first season at FCC, I took over a program with only 3 eligible players in May and by the end of September we were ranked 18th in the country by United Soccer Coaches.

I know this was a lot to read, but I'm giving you everything there is to know about me as a coach. I'm on here to help you become a better player, but I'm also on here to help you become a better version of yourself. I look forward to working together.
