About Santiago

High School Soccer coach with 10+ years of experience focused on improving your soccer IQ and fundamental skills to generate consistency in your games. Basic to Advanced knowledge in every position as a unit and as an individual.

My goal is to make sure that you are a better version of yourself after every session. Will focus on short term goals that will help you achieve long term success.

I started out volunteering for my high school for 5 years after graduating and then moved to another local high school as an assitant coach where I am still coaching to date.

I have been a coach for 10+ years (5 volunteer, 5 assistant) and have been playing soccer competitively since I was 12. I have learned from my head coaches and from my own research. I am always watching high level and low level games to provide the best training I can give for my students.

About the lesson

New students will be asked to present short term and long term goals and will be gauged to determine skill level. A plan will be presented before the session begins and can be tweaked according to student's needs. After a plan has been agreed upon the session will focus on improving technical/physical skillsets and will end on introducing/improving tactical knowledge.

I mostly work with high school students.

On occasion I train middle school and college students.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
A student should always be clear about what they want to achieve from the program. Communication will accelerate the learning process for both the student and the teacher.
