About Morgan

I am currently a Senior music education major at Mercyhurst University. I have a lot of experience giving flute lessons of all ages (4rd-12th plus),beginner to advanced saxophone lessons, beginner brass and woodwind lessons, beginner piano lessons, and vocal lessons.

Helping people learn music has been a passion of mine for my entire life. In middle school, I gave my first flute lesson and since then I fell in love with help people learn the gift of music.

While I am at school I help out a local school with their middle school woodwind students, a drum major with the universities marching band, and an active member in 4 ensembles, and am preparing for grad school auditions in flute performance.

About the lesson

For my private students for the first day, I like to get to know you as a person and your musical ability. For my instrumental students I would like them to bring something that they are working on, whether that be a solo piece or band music. With my older students, I also have them fill out an inventory about how they feel while playing music and show areas that they accel as well as areas they feel like they need help with.

For students that need help with music theory I would like the see what they are working currently, as well as areas that they struggled with in other units so we can work on building those skills as well.
