About Jenny
Greetings!
My name is JennyWren and I have been singing and playing guitar for over 30 years. I have some formal training, including singing in choirs, private voice lessons, and I tried out loads of different instruments growing up. I also took a Verbach Method Voice class. I am also a Waldorf School graduate, thus had an abundance of music training in school as well.
I have been an elementary school teacher for the past few years and I love teaching children and adults alike!
My singing lessons are designed for beginners. I start by focusing on tone, quality, breathing, listening and learning the basics. I firmly believe that ANYBODY can sing! I have helped many people over the years in finding a way to access their singing voice, even a couple who thought they were tone deaf (they were not). I also incorporate Verbach singing techniques and exercises, whenever I can, although it’s only supplemental.
I enjoy having a good time and therefore I always strive to make each lesson fun, engaging, productive and stress free! Working on building confidence along with skills, and working on projects chosen by the student. I am sure that I can help you gain the comfort with singing that you are seeking! Give me a try!
