About Melyssa
I'm a vocal and piano instructor that travels to you! I've been teaching since high school ( 13 years). Before that I was taught for 10 years by 2 different vocal instructors ( very adept in different genres of music because of a variety in my training). I have sang and played in multiple events and shows; including but not limited to honor choirs, solo festivals, solo scholarship 1st place winner, boise philharmonic, all north west choir, and church events.
I become the students friend but also teach in a way that sets them apart from every piano player out there. I learn what each students comfort zones are and push their boundaries to stretch to new horizons vocally! I have affordable prices for every budget. I teach the whole process instead of parts. You will be learning how to read, play with technique, and use theory for music! Vocal students will stretch, warmup, learn styling techniques, tips, and tricks!
