About Jamicheal

I’m Jay — a vocal coach and performing artist with a passion for music that makes people feel something and the thrill of live performance.

I’ve been teaching music, performance, and entertainment industry preparation for 8 years, and my special skill is that I’ve worked in nearly every part of the music industry.

Lessons with me focus on technique, style, and real-world performance skills, all tailored to your voice and goals.

I throw absolutely fantastic recitals and concerts. Seeing the students and artists when they perform and succeed s amazing. I want everyone to feel that way when they sing.

I have been running entertainment in the music industry for the past 8 years as well as professionally singing and teaching during that time.

About the lesson

Starting off with understanding the students goals, what they like and how they like to learn.

I've worked with rock, gospel, rnb, pop, full band. and singer songwriter.

Make sure that your teacher is teaching what you are looking for. Do not be general if you have a specific goal.

I am very fond of the last show I attended of an artist I work with and she was able to pull off a spontaneous a cappella version of over the rainbow during her set and she got a standing ovation.
