About the lesson

We meet for an hour long lesson, typically spend 10-15 minutes speaking about goals, expectations, vocal health and practice habits, and then proceed with vocalises and warm ups. Not many people realize that the vocal folds are a muscle group, much like your bicep or quads! They can be trained to grow and strengthen. Through a series of exercises designed specifically for each individual student and their voice only, we work on chest voice, head voice, the “mixed” voice and more. After 20-30 minutes of this, I would ask the student to sing something they absolutely love so I can not only hear their voice in song, but really get a feel for their taste in music to appropriately assign future repertoire.

I work with beginners of all ages (7-75) that are just starting their journey in singing as well as professionals on Broadway, national tours, recording artists, etc.

Private lessons are $80/hour and $40/half hour, well below standard Philadelphia pricing. It is important to me that all singers that wish to pursue singing have access to affordable lessons.

Facetime/Skype lessons are discounted 10%.
