About Adri-Anne
I love teaching techniques and exercises to help students gain vocal freedom and strength, but my favorite thing is helping students to put their heart and soul into their singing, instead of just imitating someone else's style.
My favorite thing is finding the unique tips and vocal tricks to helping students find breakthrough in their own singing struggles. I love hearing their voices gain strength, confidence and personality!
I love the science of singing and songwriting, and I get excited to share what I have learned. I started teaching friends of mine at church, and now have clients all over the world.
I have many years of private vocal training, piano training, and performing arts training (Canadian College of Performing Arts).
I am also a working session vocalist, recording artist, and published songwriter with TV placements.

About the lesson

Languages in which the lesson is available :
English
1. Introductory email with a few questions about singing & music experience and preferences, and how to set up for Zoom lessons.
2. We have a zoom lesson, and I will assess your voice, and with your input, decide on what will be the focus of our lessons, (ie. Basic technique, recording/audition prep, expand range)
3. I send you pre-recorded mp3 exercises to sing along to between lessons.
4. Once we have a solid foundation of learning, we work on applying good vocal techniques to a song, or start working on preparing your song for recording/audition.
5. Once techniques us established in a song, we work on vocal nuances that will give your artistic interpretation of your song more depth, interest, and impact.
6. I am available for local in-studio vocal assistance during recording.
Beginner, Intermediate, Professional.
Right now my students are either preparing to record songs, or complete beginners just having fun! I love teaching both!
Try one or two lessons with several teachers. You will usually "click" with one more than the others, and this bond of trust will help you be more open to taking risks in your vocal journey and in the long run, becoming a better singer.

Adri-Anne is knowledgeable, kind, encouraging and flexible. She was great to work with online and helped me regain my voice and range after getting pneumonia twice in 6 months
