About Destani
I have been a professional performing artist for about 6 years now, with experience in musical theatre, live performance, as well as studio performance and recording.
Music is my first love and I love showing people how to come into themselves and let music help them shine! I have been in productions such as Dreamgirls (Deena), The Wiz (Glinda the Good Witch), and had the pleasure of performing with acts such as Eric Benet, and Zhane's Renee Neufville.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in theatre perfomance from Dillard University. In 2018, I attended The American Theatre Wing Springboard workshop, where I recieved intensive vocal, dance, and audition training. Shortly thereafter I started my teaching career, working with students from 3 years old to students in their early 20's in multiple settings.

First would be a consultation, so that we can designate what you would like to work on as well as any strengths and areas that can be improved. Then we will meet weekly to build knowledge and experience, and work on said areas that need improvement.
Make sure your teacher is someone you can talk to. Respect is one thing, but you don't want to create a space of intimidation when educating yourself.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is your ultimate goal and what are some specific steps you know you need to take to get there?
