About Joy

For more than 20 years, Performance Coach and Spiritual Teacher Joy Graysen has been helping artists find and free their true voice.

Through a combination of technical vocal training and personal exploration, Joy unlocks the individual magic inside each artist, taking their

technique to new heights and their ability to touch their audiences to a deeply personal level.

This connection between Joy's artists and their audience is what sets her studio apart from other vocal studios.

Joy knows how to guide each artist to that sacred space that exists inside of them and helps them share it fearlessly. The audience then

becomes part of the experience of the song, not just a spectator watching an entertainer.

Students discover how their audience becomes part of their song in direct proportion to how fully they "lose themselves" in their music. As they learn to lose themselves in their craft, they also begin to "find themselves" in their personal lives.

Their physical vocal technique also improves drastically, in direct proportion to how fully they surrender to the conversation in the song.

Their control, breathing, tone, pitch and dynamics all improve exponentially.

Every student's journey is unique, but what they have in common is their freedom to share a private conversation while in a public forum.

They learn to step through fear into a place of trust in themselves. And that is where the true magic begins
