About Sara

I am very good at working with children. I do excel in performing arts as I am a local dance/theatre teacher and have worked at Walt Disney World as a performer. I also have experience working with special needs children.

I have danced and performered for over 11 years. In many areas performing.
I went to a performing arts high school in California and graduated with an emphasis in vocal arts on the B honor roll. I am currently attending a community college with a major in business management. I have experience teaching theatre and dance to all ages including special needs students. I have had extensive training with the Walt Disney company in both performing arts and motivating others.

About the lesson

I always start by getting to know the student. I often use a students passion to motivate them in their work. Then I assess where their needs of improvement are and their current level. I try to challenge my students to keep them motivated but never anything I know the student can not handle.

I have worked with students of all ages and special needs students. Every student is different and requires different ways of teaching for them to understand.

For performing arts, make sure the teacher is challenging you but maintaining your level and always evolving their teachings to fit you.

Disney has always been a very big passion of mine. I often use Disney as a motivator or learning tool within my teachings.

Performing Arts: $30/hr

Performing Arts include: Monolouges, scenes, stage performance, line memorization, theatre, dance, ballet, jazz, contemporary, choreography, stretching, flexibility, and any special request training within my abilities.
