About
Hi there! My name is Sydney and I am a recent Master of Music graduate of The Juilliard School, where I also completed my Bachelor of Music degree. I am a professional opera singer having performed in venues such as the New York Philharmonic (David Geffen Hall), Walt Disney Music Hall, Florida Grand Opera, Central City Opera, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Musco Center for the Arts, Denver Opera House, Aspen Opera House, and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis.
I believe in creating a safe space for students of all ages to express themselves and find their inner voice. I specialize in boosting confidence and building a healthy vocal technique from the ground up. I have experience teaching all levels of learning in any style/genre. From very beginner to professional, my extensive experience allows me to meet any student where they are. I believe in assessing each students’ specific needs and creating a lesson plan around their unique strengths and growth-points (I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach). I instill a positive and fun learning environment that keeps students inspired and curious to learn more!
