About Christian
I'm one, multi-talented musician experienced in several instruments and genres. I believe not only in playing notes, but connecting with the music you play and understanding how to provoke an emotional response with your music.
Music is essential for living a life, i believe. It's the perfect way to express emotion and personality. I was a completelt different person before I learned of my passion for music. Now I play, listen to, and create music every day. I want to be able to allow other people to experience that as well. Giving lessons allows me to allow others to express themselves
I started in my undergraduate college career, where I had to learn how to teach. From there I taught in Newburgh, IN, eventually moving up to Indianapolis to teach further.
3 years giving lessons previously, a minor in saxophone performance, self taught in guitar and bass, 6 years of classical singing training

I like to do a phone or online video interview to get a feel for where the student is musically. After that, it's all up to the student on how fast we progress. I'll offer guidance and goals to meet, and get the student to hit the ground running.
My youngest student was 7, and my oldest in their mid-60s. I've taught students with learning disabilities, attention disorder, and, my least favorite, parents who think they know better than I do.
