About Amanda
Hello! My name is Amanda LaPorte, and I'm very excited to meet you and help you on your musical and vocal journey. I am a professional singer with 4 years of private lesson teaching experience, and prior to that I was a student-director of a college choir for a year as well. I've been learning about music myself and singing in choirs since I was six years old, and have studied with some of the best vocal coaches in the country! I am also a piano player, a musical theater enthusiast, and worked as a band instructor previously as well, so I have lots of experience with many genres and styles of music.
I specialize in providing personalized singing and music theory lessons via Zoom or FaceTime. With a tailored approach to each student's unique strengths and goals, I ensure that my students not only master the techniques but also develop a deep appreciation for music. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your musical aspirations with expert guidance and a passion for teaching. Join me and take your musical journey to the next level!

I quit singing long ago. Recently I decided to get back into it. Amanda has been a great help in getting me singing again. They have incredible knowledge and they teach in an encouraging way. I've made leaps and bounds while under their care.
Amanda is absolutely the best voice teacher I've ever had!See more recommendations
