About Susan

Who you/your child are/is is important to me. Knowing who you/your child are/is helps me, as your coach, design piano lessons, theory drills, games & activities, choose repertoire, etc. just for you/your child, which will make learning how to play the piano more enjoyable.

Helping you/your child learn the lifelong skill of playing the piano is fulfilling. The benefits of playing the piano extends beyond the piano keys, it enhances you/your child’s mental capacity to learn, to retain information and to process ciritical information. You/your child not only become(s) a better student academically, you/your child gain(s) a sense of accomplishment and joy, that is priceless.

Music Education B.A

Accompanist for The South Bay Notables

Accompanist for Manhattan Beach Unified School District Elementary Schools

About the lesson

For all my prospective students I set up a FREE 30-45 minute introductory lesson with BOTH the student and their parent(s). During this time frame I get to know the student, then I do a basic piano lesson with them. This gives the student, and their parent(s), an opportunity to observe who I am, how I interact with their child and whether or not I’d be a good fit for their child as his/her Piano Coach.
