About Stephanie

I have had a strong passion for hard work and education since I began my academic carrer as well as a heart for children. I have served with Children's Ministry at my church for the past 7 years and have no plans on stopping soon. Academic achievements include a solid 3.7+ GPA and several awards in English, Psychology, and History. I have also been involved in music and performing arts for 9 years and have a strong knowledge of Theatre Arts and Vocal Training.

The best part about what I do is seeing the look on a student's face when the material clicks. I want to play any role possible in a students academic carrer and set them on the right path for them.

I have taken professional voice lessons for 7 years as well as ear training for 4. I have also been involved in theatrical arts for 9 years. Psychology has been a passion of mine for the past 3 years and I have continued independent studies in the subject, TAing at my school, and AP Psychology- the latter of which I passed with a 5.

About the lesson

After getting a sense of their work ethic and learning style, I prefer to dive in and find what they're struggling at/with and then working with them to find a suitable way to push past their initial barrier.

Find somebody that you click with. In Performing and Liberal Arts it is very hard to learn and improve if you and your teacher do not have a strong relationship of mutual respect.

Are you doing something that you genuinely enjoy? Don't spend your parents money (or yours) if you couldn't care less.
