About Raymond
WINTER SALE: $15 intro lesson - MESSAGE ME "Specialty Lesson"
Hey there! I'm a third-year music student at USC, specializing in contemporary vocal styles such as jazz, pop, rock, R&B, and musical theatre! I've been singing my entire life, and have been formally training my voice for 7 years.
I'm all about vocal health, sustainable vocal technique, and letting your emotions be the primary vehicle of your vocal expression! I believe your voice is a SUPERPOWER... let's have the most fun with it!
Not only am I a student, but I'm also a part-time professional musician. I've sung in a live production of Disney/Pixar's 4TOWN* from the film "Turning Red", I've performed and sang background vocals for Scott Hoying, and was a background vocalist at the iconic Hollywood Bowl with the GRAMMY-Winning a cappella group, Pentatonix.
Additionally, being a Scholarship Recipient at the Thornton School of Music, I bring a solid foundation to our lessons. Mixing what I learn in class with real-world experiences in the LA music scene, I offer you the best of both worlds!
If you're up for an exciting musical journey, let's team up! I'm all about bringing out the best in your voice and making singing a super enjoyable part of your life. Let's do this together!

Not only is Raymond extremely knowledgeable about the inner-workings of the voice, but he also has a humble mastery over his instrument; he holds space for my concerns while pushing me to be my very best vocalist and artist—I would highly recommend Raymond for anyone who is just starting vocal lessons or those who have been singing for years.
I’ve worked with Raymond a few times during my time in choir, and he truly helped me with my vocal confidence and ability! He helped me get out of my head and just SING.
