About Jayme
My passion is helping young people discover their own voice. I enjoy helping students reach their full potential by developing their singing voice, acting and performance skills, and overall confidence. I am a positive and enthusiastic teacher with a lot of experience.
I have taught voice lessons and coachings for 10 years (since 2009). I’ve worked with over 40 students individually and have directed and produced musicals and plays with groups of students. I am also an elementary theater teacher and high school theater producer and director in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I worked in general management on Broadway for several years and did my master’s at NYU in Performing Arts Administration and my undergrad at the University of Michigan in Vocal Performance and Music Education.

I start the lesson process with getting to know my student’s interests and level of knowledge. I will get to know my student’s taste in music and discuss the student’s aspirations so that we can develop goals together.
I have worked with students between the ages of 5 and 22. I have worked with students entirely new to singing and performing as well as students that are seasoned performers that are ready to apply for college programs in musical theater and classical voice.
