About Alisa

Hello, My Name is Alisa Fleming and I am a Milliner (Hat Maker). I've been doing Millinery for 13years and been wearing hats since I was 7yrs old. I am very passionate about this craft, as I Have open a home-based Millinery Boutique.

If you are interested in creating your own unique hats and headpieces; I will be teaching " The Art of Millinery" out of my home-base shop. I make hats, headpieces, fascinators, hatinators, and cocktail hats, using traditional millinery Techniques . I have a Beginner's, Intermediate, and advance class.

I have studied under numerous Milliners both from the USA and International, from 2006 to 2019, I have attended 2 Millinery retreats at MMU. I have a certification from Hat Academy and I was featured on fox2detroit news on April 29th 2019. Which you can view on my facebook page listed below.

I enjoy the creative process of it all. I love to watch the hat develop into a masterpiece. Just like building a house, you start with the foundation and watch it come alive as you add your own special touch. I often enjoy the feeling of tranquility as I'm creating my pieces.

I have studied under numerous (9) Milliners, both USA and International. From 2006 -2019

I have received a certification of completion through Hat Academy.

I have attended Millinery Meetup retreat classes, in 2016 and 2018

My hats and Headpieces have been seen on fox2detroit News on April 29th, 2019 Under the segment : "Detroit Derby Brunch"

About the lesson

students can provide an email address and Phone Number and request information for classes offered. I will then provide a class syllabus, with payment options and class times. students also have the option of talking to me over the phone to get detail instructions. Note: class times are flexible for students.

Basic Millinery Class (24 hrs total= 250.00) 6 hrs x 4 days or 8 hrs x 3 days

Intermediate Millinery Class (18 hrs total= 225.00) 6hrs x 3 days

Advance Millinery Class ( 18 hrs total = 225.00 ) 6hrs x 3 days

Days and hours are flexible to your schedule.
