About Janet
"ABOUT US Welcome to Sew Much Better, Mount Pleasant’s Premier Sewing Studio. We specialize in teaching children and adults the skills and art of sewing in a fun filled atmosphere. All our current classes accommodate for ALL different sewing levels. No experience is needed to join in on the FUN!" Learn to Quilt, Craft,and sew Fashions of your choice.
I was teaching sewing in other shops and did not like how the lessons and cost were set up. I kept saying to myself I could do this so much better. So that’s what I did. I love every minute, every stitch, and every smile.
I graduated from FIT with a fashion and Textile Design degree. I have been sewing for 50 years and love passing on my knowledge and joy of sewing.

Each new student is introduced to sewing in a great and friendly shop. We take our time and learn together. We teach ages 5 to adult. No experience necessary. You will leave with a finished product your first lesson.
I work with 5yr olds to adults. Some students come in and are afraid of the sewing machine. Within the first month they are sewing on their own. My Fashion Camp is one of the best we have to offer

fashion Camp is the best. We have been featured in the news paper every year. The kids have a wonderful time and get a chance to show off their designs.
My holiday and Birthday Party’s are so much fun. Everyone leaves with a smile on their faces and a finished project. Never a disappointment.

The free first lesson with Janet allows you to get to know the tutor and discuss your needs and expectations.

Details
Classes run monthly. Fee is 100$ a month. There is a one time 25$ registration fee. All fabric, patterns, notions are included in the fee. Classes are 1&1/2 hrs a week. We are open Monday through Saturday.
Monday through Friday classes start at 10am to closing 7:30pm Saturday’s 9am to 1:30pm.
