For me the most amazing thing about learning to quilt from Sue was the confidence she inspires. I didn't even realize I should be intimidated by Y-seams, partial seams, foundation paper piecing, etc. Sue's knowledge, patience and sense of humor are essential qualities for a teacher. Her quilt patterns are beautiful and fun. Her technique for positioning directional fabric is so much easier than other methods I have read about. The pattern directions are clear and easy to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her.
