About Sylvia

I am passionate about sewing. I was 6 feet tall in the 6th grade. The malls didn't make clothes long enough for me. All I ever wanted to do was be a normal kid like everyone else. Why was I born so differently than the other kids is what I often asked myself. My Mother hated seeing me constantly sag my pants and tug at my sleeves. She didn't want to develop low self esteem so she started making my clothes. I began designing my own clothes and she would make them for me. She eventually got tired of making clothes for me and taught me how to sew. I have been sewing 40 years now. My Mom has been sewing for 70 years. Collectively we bring 100 years of sewing. We make learning to sew super easy! We specialize in maxi skirts, Linen pants, Suit jackets, and patchwork. We would love to work with you!
