About Mike

I teach Traditional Korean Martial Arts.

Retired school teacher. 40 years experience teaching Taekwondo (Tang Soo Do). 4th Degree Master Instructor and personal student of Grand Master Jae Joon Kim.

Excellent referrals and credentials.

Our focus is on self improvement, inside and out. Our students gain confidence as their skill level improves. Some students say the training relieves stress and helps with losing weight. Others are especially happy with developing their self-defense skills.

Our club is like a family. We support, and encourage each other as we work towards that Black Belt.

Master Green had private students even before reaching black belt. After earning his 1st degree black belt, he was given permission from GMK Kim to open his first studio in Columbia TN. in 1982.

Master Green is a retired Metro Nashville Public School Teacher. He is a 4th Dan, Certified Master Instructor and was a personal student under Grand Master Jae Joon Kim, President of the World Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do Association.

About the lesson

New students start with learning how to care for their uniform and tie their belt. They learn proper studio etiquette and where a new student stands in line. Beginners can learn at their own pace. It is always a non-competitive environment in class.

Students from 5 years old and up, both male and female are welcome. Master Green has worked with all types of students including, at-risk youth, handicapped, military, law enforcement, senior citizens, overweight, and natural athletes.

Master Green has recently been approved to start teaching a class at LEAD Middle School in Madison TN.

Details

Classes at the Madison studio are Monday and Tuesday at 7pm and Saturday at noon. Students can sign up for $50 per month unlimited attendance, or $40 per month if attending 1 day per week.
