About Derrick
As a teenager, I was almost abducted. That was a real eye-opening experience. I learned that you can’t just “know” some self-defense, you need to have reflexes and have the ability to execute what you know. But beyond that, you MUST be in the right condition to protect yourself.
I have had the absolute pleasure of training “WITH” and “UNDER” several Great Martial Arts Masters over the years, including 7 Time World Karate Champion & Creator of Tae Bo, Billy Blanks, The Legendary Guro Dan Inosanto and undefeated World Kickboxing Champion Pete “Sugarfoot” Cunningham, to name a few. I was also the Creator and a member of the performance group, Momentum.
Momentum, which consisted of several teens from my alma mater, TC Williams High School in Alexandria, VA (Remember The Titans), was widely known in the DC area for our unusual martial arts demonstrations.
I have had the privilege of teaching black belt instructors, military personnel, police officers, girl scout troops, women’s groups, as well as beginner and advanced students at various martial arts schools, college campuses and organizations in the DC Metro Area, Atlanta and Los Angeles. I have had a long history of teaching original format kickboxing, self-defense, abs conditioning, sports conditioning, boot camps, and personal training at many prominent fitness facilities (including Gold’s Gym, Sport & Health, Olympus Gym, PTO Fitness, PIES Fitness, Anytime Fitness, and The Belle Haven Country Club,).

20 Sessions @ 65/session = $1300
Small Group = $100 per Session
