About Bianca
I started reading at 3. I'm a person who loves learning new words and find enjoyment and knowing what they mean when I read them. I volunteered at an elementary school in my community a few years ago. While I'm not a certified teacher, I can assure you that hiring me to be your child's reading tutor will be an experience you won't regret.
I enjoy seeing others excited and happy with their progress. Together we can get passed "this is too hard", and start saying "I understand now!"
I began teaching my son to read when he was learning to talk and beginning to form sentences. I have done the same with my second son as well.
I have a 9 year old who's been getting home schooled since last school year. As I mentioned in my intorduction, I don't have any certificates. I have vonlunteered at an elementary school before so I do have experience working with younger children.

I like to know what the student knows, then go from there. I ask them to read a few sentences to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
I have worked with 3-5 year old students.
Don't pass me up because I don't have the certifications or as much experience as other tutors you come across. As a parent I can strongly relate to you all.
During the summer I spent an hour a day with my children reading. My 9-year-old began his second year (4th grade) in home school on a 7th grade reading level.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is your end goal? What do you expect from your tutor? How do you expect them to help you improve in the subject you need help with?
