About Karlee
Hi i'm Karlee! I have my Master's degree in education with a certification in special education. I have 4 years of experience teaching reading to students with learning disabilities, other health impairments, developmental delay, and autism. I am passionate about helping students reach their goals and to have a love for reading. I am patient, and teach at a comfortable pace for all of my learners.
I always had a passion for teaching. I started off by my obtaining my bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in music at the University of New Hampshire. Then I got my Master's in Education at SNHU. As a kid I always struggled with Math and felt like I didn't get the help I needed. Ever since then, i've wanted to become a teacher to help struggling learners.
I have my Master's in Education with a certification in special education from Southern New Hampshire University. I am trained in CKLA reading and S.P.I.R.E reading.

When working with a new student, I typically ask what their interests are so that I can incorporate those interests in my lessons. I also go over expectations, and what our first goal will be.
I have worked with all types of students. Students with ADHD, autism, developmental delay, students with specific learning disabilities, and students with speech impairments.
Make sure that the person's description matches your needs, and that they have certifications to teach.
I have recently started working at a new school and it has been incredible!

For 30 minute reading lessons I charge $25.00. For 45 minute reading lessons I charge $35.00.
Cancellation Policy:
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Failure to notify me of a cancellation will result in full payment for the tutoring session missed.
