About Javier
I love to see the changes my students experience when they realize that "yes, they can meditate." It's exciting to accompany them on what may possibly be a life transforming journey.
I love to meditate. I cannot imagine a day without it. And equally, I love sharing meditation with others and exploring the possibilities meditation offers. I try to make meditation accessible and teach a simple way to make it work for you. Your practice changes as it deepens. It's gratifying to help people understand just how powerful meditation can be and guide them as they incorporate it into their lives.
I started teaching immediately upon completion of the Chopra program. I love nothing more than teaching and sharing the nearly limitless benefits of meditation.
I am a Chopra Global Certified Meditation Instructor. I've taught workshops and also been a feature speaker and host of a three day alternative healing seminar.

It's important to learn your expectations about meditation. I help students realize you allow meditation, you don't "do" meditation. It's a very gentle approach.
I've taught people from all walks of life, from young people to retirees. I've worked with addicts (I am a recovered alcoholic) and I've worked with yoga teachers and others in the healing arts.
Hire someone who can relate to you and your situation. Hire someone who listens. Hire someone you like and can help launch you down the amazing path of meditation.
I spoke at a three day seminar in March 2021 about the scientifically proven ability of your brain to change the way you think. Change your brain, change the way you think, change your life.

Perfect! I really had no idea what to expect when I started taking Meditation classes with Jim, as I had never taken meditation lessons before. Jim is very easy going and relaxed and makes learning meditation comfortable. I'm early into learning this health process, but so far I am encouraged and hopeful it will give me tools to learn to relax and deal with anxiety and sleeplessness. Jim has a strong background in communication and it shows as he teaches meditation techniques in a very easy to follow style. I look forward to continuing to improve my meditation skills with Jim's help.

James is always well prepared for each and every session. Prior to starting his sessions he prepped me well with a workshop so i would understand what was going to happen and why. This was very helpful. I find his meditation sessions as healthy therapy.
