About Juan
There is nothing more satisfying than to see my students succeed in the process of learning. I've always believed that teaching is a process of mutual learning in which both the student and the teacher learn from each other in a different variety of ways. I teach from a very dynamic, flexible and interactive point of view as I think that traditional teaching is an obsolete model in many aspects. I am a very didactic teacher and I find that to be a very efficient tool when it comes to teaching and helping my students understand complex issues.
The thing I enjoy the most about teaching is that I've always truly believed that through the field of education is where one can impact and change the world that we live in. A country is not solely rich based on its high levels of petroleum but rather on the education that its citizens possess. I believe that teaching is one of the most personal ways in which two individuals can get to know each other as it is a mutually beneficial relationship.
I started teaching when I was 19 in my former university. I became a tutor in Spanish (my native language) as well as in Political Economy.
I have a major in Politicial Science from Emmanuel College (Boston). On top of that, I'm the President of the Public Affairs section of the Federation of young Jews of Spain and I'm also part of the Dipomatic Corps of the EJA (European Jewish Association).

First I like to get to know my student, from a personal point of view. I want to understand the reasons that led him/her to be now with me and see how I can adapt myself as much as possible to his/her personal needs. From there, we move on to the academic field. I try to teach in a very interactive way so my student really starts to feel the passion for the field of study.
All kind of students. Each student is a different world and that is the marvelous thing about teaching.
