About Lillian
I like to help students reach their goals. Many people learn and enjoy a subject but then get hung up in a certain area. I want to be there to help them over the bumps so they can get back to the fun stuff.
I have tutored elementary and college students in subjects as diverse as reading skill development and basic nursing and public relations journalism as a college student myself. I have tutored in study skills too.
I have a Master's degree in Education. I got my teaching credentials as an elementary school teacher. I currently hold a license in Mental Health Counseling and work mostly with adults. I excel at the one-on-one experience.
I am a trained elementary school teacher. I have a Master's degree in education with a Community counseling specialty. I have training in many ways of absorbing learning materials and I am able to present material in different ways so that a student is more likely to comprehend it.

I meet with them via the internet. We start where they are. I do an evaluation of their identified problem or area of stress, and I offer methods and thoughts that will help them overcome their limitations. We will work on actual problems from the classroom and practice arriving at correct answers or producing material in a more competent and/or superior manner. Some people learn best by reading, some by writing notes, and some by listening. I want to direct my assistance toward the learner's best method.
