About Mohammed Kasim
Hi, I’m Kasim and I am a qualified solicitor and experienced tutor helping students prepare for the 11+, GCSE English, CV writing workshops and interview preparation. As a former grammar school student myself, I understand first hand the opportunities life has presented me with because I had the perfect learning environment. Also as a working professional and university graduate, I understand the struggles and challenges involved with exam preparation. One of the best pieces of advice I have received is that if you want to have a good career in life be prepared to study and sit exams for the rest of your working life. My approach to tutoring is focusing on making sessions student centric. I carry out an analysis with all my students to determine their strengths and development areas. I then create a bespoke programme for my students targeting improvement areas, but also to practise strengths as practice makes perfect. Every lesson will start with a brain teaser as brain training before a lesson helps students focus their attention and spike their interest. In addition I work with students to create goals to work towards as I believe goal oriented learning to be very effective; and when students reach milestones, success should be celebrated.
