About Kevin
Looking to start up a new documentary film project? I've been a documentary director, producer and writer for more than 20 years and I have mentored dozens of colleagues. I know first hand that it takes a leap of faith to create a documentary and a tremendous amount of energy and compassion to see a project through to completion. Curiously, the one thing I've noticed is how difficult it is for people to ask questions about getting, framing and telling the story. I can help students to simplify the process and hone their story.
I love what I do. It gives me the opportunity to go to places and meet people and hear about their world. I can tell a story that can hopefully help to change the world just a little bit.

I prefer to work one-on-one with a student on the phone or via email. Before getting started I'll ask students to send me a one page description of their doc. This is strictly confidential and I will sign an NDA if necessary. Then, I would set up an initial half hour consultation to talk about the project. Then, once I agree to take on the student, we'll work out a plan of action depending on the state of their project.
