About Jennie
I am a professional artist with an active studio. I have experience with art installations, public art, galleries, and teaching to all ages. My expertice in fine arts is not limited to one medium. I work with porcelain clay, painting, drawing, mix media, etc. I am well educated and have traveled the world to study art.
I taught the highschool students at the Kansas City Art Institute for their Saturday classes while I was a college student there.
I graduated with a BFA in Ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute and a MFA in Ceramics with an emphasis in drawing from WSU. I have a certificate of study from the Angel Academy of Painting in Florence, Italy. I have also traveled extensively to research and study art around the world.

I address my students with one-on-one evaluation and instruction to determine the level of skills and talent. Students are then given individual direction to develop their own skills and insight to their work.
I have worked with students of all ages from pre-school to adults.
My advice would be to find a teacher that can aclamate you to the processes of the artwork you want develop along with directing you to develop your creative insights.
There are many events I am fond of. I like diversity.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think students think through their questions by talking to their teachers. A good teacher will help the student understand what needs are really important and what are not.
