About Katie
I offer private one-on-one and small group pottery lessons. I will work with you to create a curriculum that fits your needs, whether it is a single quick lesson or ongoing lessons.
I earned a BFA in Visual Arts with a focus in Ceramics. I have been teaching private lessons since 2015.

I typically work with adults. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Children under 14 typically lack the strength required for the pottery wheel and are accepted on a case by case basis.
If possible, contact current and past students for feedback regarding their instructor. Some pottery teachers are very hands-off and others are hands-on. Since I only offer private lessons, I am extremely hands-on.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Consider the fact that pottery takes time to learn and practice to advance. If you can only spare 30 minutes a week, or even a day, pottery is probably not the activity for you.
