Usually after the first few projects/assignemnts I know which teaching approaches works best for the student depend on their practice time, interest, ability. Yet it might take longer to gain emotional trust from kids younger than 4 or 5.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
students should ask their teachers about their needs. Understanding piano learning is a whole different story from math. The functional system for the human body also varies from learning math/literature even though they interrelate each other.
