I took both vocal and piano lessons for five years with Kathy Snow. Before I came to Kathy, I had bad pitch problems and little to no knowledge of vocal technique. Kathy knew how to fix my issues and taught me techniques that greatly improved my voice. Not only that but through training with Kathy, I discovered my passion for the performing arts and musical theatre. Kathy was fabulous at supporting my goals and uplifting me, and giving me many opportunities to work on and use my craft. I now attend a musical theatre college in NYC! I couldn’t have done with without my first lessons with Kathy.

Kathy Snow manages to make lessons both educational and fun. My mom switched me to lessons with Kathy after a much harsher old-school teacher made me want to quit taking piano altogether. Kathy not only restored my love for the instrument, but also instilled in me a love of performance. She took the technical foundation I already had and used it to help make me the best pianist I could be. She turned practicing from something I had to do into something I wanted to do. If not for taking lessons from Kathy, I would have likely quit playing piano before finishing middle school. Instead, I am now working on a Piano Performance degree at Wake Forest University.

Kathy has a contagious energy and way of getting kids excited about piano, voice, and theater. My kids have all taken from a young age and because of Kathy’s inspiration they have gone on to pursue singing and acting both on stage and film. She genuinely loves and cares for her each and every child she works with. She knows how to encourage each individual child to improve without pressuring them.
