About Nathanael
Nathan Skinner attended the University of Miami and studied with Terence Blanchard, Shelly Berg, Martin Bejerano and the legendary Gary Burton.
He has performed at the Amelia Island Jazz Festival, Monetary Jazz Festival, UCF Jazz Festival, and New Orleans Jazz Festival. He has also preformed with the Florida Wind Symphony and the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. He has won numerous awards and scholarships.
Nathan regularly performs in Palm Beach, Miami Beach and throughout south Florida. He has also performed in concert with Dena DeRose, John Colianni, Marian Petrescu, Matt Wilson, Marty Morell, Jeff Rupert, Shelly Berg, Ken Peplowski, Karrin Allyson and Chuck Bergeron.
In Addition to performing, Nathan composes/produces music for Big Band, Marching Bands, Video/Arcade Games, and Electronic/Dance/Hip-Hop Music projects.
Nathan teaches privately on all percussion instruments, begining piano, jazz piano and theory, and composition and arrangements.

I studied at The University Of Miami in the Jazz Instrumental Music program where I studied with world renowned musicians and educators; such as Gary Burton, Benny Golson, Shelly Berg, and Terence Blanchard.
I have also worked with and learned from educators at the highest level of the Marching Arts, Symphonic, and Jazz mediums.

I take the first lesson and asses where the student is at in musical development, and I tailor a plan to their needs. Depending on where they are at we could start anywhere from learning to read music, to working on music theory and performing at a high level.
I have worked with students as young as 7, and as old as 55. Age and experience are not an issue, all I need is for the student to want to learn.

Details
I charge $60/hour an $35 a half hour. I reccomend only a half hour for students in elementary school. Around 5th grade I reccomend moving to hour long lessons.
