About Sofia
My name is Sofia Guiza and I have been giving piano lessons in the Long Island area for 20 years after completing my music education in Moscow Russia. I mostly go to students homes for their lessons and tailor the curriculum for each student's level and goals. I have a website where you can see more about my private practice ((concealed information) and also recently compiled a youtube video featuring my students.
I also regularly hold recitals for students to demonstrate their achievements and practice playing in front of an audience at the National Opera Center in Manhattan.
I usually like to give a free first time intro session for each new student to get to know their goals and decide whether we would be a good fit for each other. I am new to this platform so I am not sure if that is possible here, but I am open to coordinating an intro session if it is.
