Experienced tutor in Piano in Shelby, Chrissy offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I hired Chrysalis to teach my grandson piano. My grandson, who is 11-yrs old has been diagnosed with Autism. After just a few lessons he began making amazing progress. He completed his beginner book in around six months and moved on to his intermediate book right away. Ms. Chrissy, as he affectionately calls her, is extremely patient with children who are differently abled. My grandson was drawn to classical music from an infant it has a soothing affect that he finds comforting--this is a genre that Ms. Chrissy teaches very well. My grandson especially loved the duets they use to do together. Her teaching expertise has given him a lot of confidence. Our experience with Chrysalis Piano Studio has been stellar. Her rates are reasonable, she is flexible and very professional. We are so pleased with our young mans progress he is now playing another instrument in his middle school band and it all started with Ms. Chrissy. I highly recommend her services.

Chrissy is a great piano teacher. She introduced my son to his love for piano. Chrissy made music fun for him and he was always excited to go to lessons. Any student that works with Chrissy is in for a great experience and a successful path in music!

Chrysalis was a phenomenal teacher for both my daughters. She began teaching them when they were 6 & 8 years old. She was incredibly patient, encouraging, and consistently bringing out the best in my kids. Ms. Chrysalis truly cared for them and helped to instill in them a love of music, inspiring them to believe in their potential. I doubt we will ever encounter another piano teacher who could ever fill her shoes.
