About Sharon
I've been teaching students of all ages, from 8 to 80, for 30+ years. I have a Masters of Divinity with Church Music degree and am a member of The Raleigh Piano Teachers Association, the North Carolina Piano Teachers Association, and the Music Teachers National Association. I work with all levels of students - from beginners to advanced, and my students play a variety of music, from pop to rock to sacred to classical.
A quote that I firmly believe in is "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life." I love music and I love helping students discover the music that is inside of them. I'm enthusiastic, energetic, nurturing and supportive of my students and their goals. I think that it's possible to have fun and learn at the same time, and I strongly believe that's what happens in our studio!
