As a flutist, I have partaken in countless solo and concert band competitions where I received high marks that I couldn’t have gotten without the guidance from Christina. Most notably, I was given a superior rating (the highest possible grade) during a solo competition for a piece that Christina helped me tune to perfection with attention to detail in every note. Accomplishments aside, Christina has truly given me the opportunity to find the love for music that has shaped me into the person I am today—so much so that I wrote my college admissions essay about music and received acceptances from several prestigious universities and thousands of dollars in scholarships.
