Beginners on Zoom (and in person, when our Pandemic situation is over) will begin with an overview of music, notes, note values, rhythms, counts, familiarity with the piano keyboard and basic note reading. We tap and clap rhythms and identify notes. All this basic groundwork may take a few lessons, before starting to play. I use elementary music theory sheets which the parent can print out. If a child already reads music, we begin immediately with the method books. I teach scales as well. I will recommend which books for the parent to purchase. I make the lesson fun. I am thorough and caring. My goal for my students: LOVE THE MUSIC and THE PROCESS. 🎶🎶🎶
