About Jeremy
I teach music my students want to play. I am able to come up with arrangements of popular songs as well as teach classical.
All of my students go on to achieve outstanding results when going for NYSSMA.
Several people recommended me to start teaching.
I got my bachelors in jazz music, and I am a graduate student getting my Masters in music composition

I start with the basics. Finger numbers, scales, and intro level exercises for reading staff paper. Usually I have student tell me why they want to learn to play the piano. I could then gear the learning process to why they want to learn an instrument. This will allow me too start setting goals for the students so that they could play songs they want to play and not just classical music
I have worked with age ranges going from seven years old to 45 years old.
