About Moldir
My approach is to respond to the needs of the individual student. With beginners, I initially assess the student’s musical ear and use games and other fun exercises to introduce fundamental elements of music theory. At the same time, I work with the beginner to establish a foundation of good habits when relating to their instrument, whether it is piano or violin. With more advanced students and those preparing for auditions and competitions, I encourage careful attention to intonation, rhythmic accuracy, and expressiveness.
Im a conservatory-trained musician offering violin and piano lessons, I am able to teach in Russian, Kazakh, and English. I am certified as a violin/viola teacher at all levels from beginner to advanced/conservatory levels by the Glinka Conservatory in Novosibirsk, Russia, where I received my undergraduate degree, In the past nine years, I have taught beginning and intermediate students on the piano, and beginners (age 3) to advanced conservatorymusicians on violin.
