About Micah
Art House Astoria, founded in 2009 in Astoria, NY, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservatory for music and art. It provides high-quality, affordable visual and performing arts education for all ages and abilities. Programs include private lessons and group classes in music, theatre, visual arts, dance, and creative writing. Seasonal offerings include spring and summer classes, summer camps, and production-based learning such as youth musical theatre.
Signature initiatives include the Summer Stage Project, a month-long production experience for rising 7th–12th graders that culminates in public performances, as well as class productions like A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS. Scheduling is designed to be flexible, especially in summer. Group formats help lower individual costs, and discounts are available for multiple lessons and families.
Serving children, teens, and adults across Queens, Art House Astoria pairs artist-led instruction with community outreach in partnership with local schools and organizations, offering accessible arts education in a supportive environment.
