Students love utilizing the studio iPad with the music theory apps. They enjoy learning theory and are eager to answer my questions. Most of the time, parents have to drag kids out of the studio... that’s just how much they love their lessons!
I'm a very experienced, enthusiastic, fun-loving contemporary teacher. I implement an excellent piano method series in my studio and several awesome iPad music apps that are great for skill-building with sight-reading and learning rhythm and connects me with my students. These have been met with rave reviews!
My music studio is open for lessons Monday-Thursday. (Closed Friday-Sunday.)

A student who has no knowledge of reading music will soon be able to read notes on the staff and will be playing songs that they know and love.
I include music theory as part of every lesson to build a strong foundation on which the student will be able to grow in their musical ability from.
I incorporate many different ways of teaching note-reading scales, chords, sight-reading and improvising. I like to keep current and use various iPad apps in my teaching which has been welcomed and applied with great success!
I have a great rapport with students of all ages and have successfully taught students as young as 3 years to play piano. I've taught group piano classes to 3-4 year olds at a pre-school for 5 years.
I also have many adult students and retirees who have had lessons as a child or it's on their 'bucket list' to learn to play piano or guitar!

Our spring recital was three weeks ago and I had 23 of my students participating in it - it was a wonderful afternoon of music and fun as students showed off their expertise on their instruments and parents & grandparents were able to take great pride in their student's accomplishments.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What is it that you're aiming for with your music instruction? To be a concert pianist? Or to be able to play the current pop songs you enjoy listening to on the radio? Do you want to learn to accompany yourself as you sing?
Taking these things into consideration will help your teacher be able to better tailor the lessons to reach your musical goals!

Perfect! I can’t say enough good things about Teresa Tullat’s Music Studio. She is so encouraging for beginners and very patient. She also teaches you little tricks as an adult first time piano student that makes you feel like you can actually play the piano. Teresa is fantastic!

Details
