About Anne
I've taught piano for many years, both in my own studio & in a local music school. I love the opportunity to help people learn about music, and to see the satisfaction they receive as they progress.
I began teaching while still in school, & have taught hundreds of students over the years. It's been my full-time job, & I love it!
I majored in piono performance, & have spent many years teaching & performing.

I usually teach 30-minute weekly lessons, although I am willing to do longer lessons with more advanced or adult students.
Ages 3-adult
Learning piano is really rewarding in lots of ways, but doesn't happen in just a couple lessons. It's important to find a teacher who is encouraging, patient, and who will work with you on a mix of fun songs and "lesson" material.
I really enjoyed my studio's Spring Recital in May. It's always fun to see the kids dressed up & excited to show off their hard work. This year I played a really fun duet with one of my most advanced students. :-)
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ability to practice (instrument, time, etc)
Commitment (be prepared to attend regularly)
